Still wondering just how good Lipstick Jungle will be? Here is a new preview!
Robert Buckley has joined the cast of Lipstick Jungle in a recurring role on the new NBC show. He is actually taking over the role of Kirby from Will Toale, who played the part in the pilot episode. Kirby is hot for Nico, played by 24’s Kim Raver.

Lipstick Jungle is going to have a cool component to the show - a full online magazine which will be published before each episode airs.
NBC.com and iVillage will team up to bring Bonfire Magazine to life online, bringing the millions of women from iVillage and the millions of fans from NBC.com together on one mega-site. Each week, fans of the show will find a fully editorialized online publication, which will offer users fashion profiles, relationship advice, topical articles, quizzes and forums. Users will also get the “Bonfire Buzz” on the fictional world of the show before each episode airs.
This is am interesting way to bring the show more interactivity online. But with the show not premiering until January 2008, it will be a long wait to see how Bonfire Magazine turns out.

NBC has picked up Lipstick Jungle for at least thirteen episodes as a mid-season replacement show that will begin airing in January 2008. The show, based on the novel by Sex and the City author Candace Bushnell, stars Brooke Shields (Suddenly Susan amongst other things such as her tiff with Tom Cruise over anti-depressants), Lindsay Price (Beverly Hills, 90210 fame) and Kim Raver (of 24 and The Nine).
The show follows three high powered friends in New York City (sound familiar?). While relationships will play a part, its focus will be on the impact having high powered careers - and how they will do just about anything, and put everything on the line, for success in the male dominated business world.
